Been playing this game for a while now, it still holds true to itself even years later. Such a fun, thrilling little experience. The game really should be updated though, it has a lot of open and loose ends to tie that could really make the experience a whole lot more amped up. That aside, it’s a ton of fun. Taught me a lot about how to construct abstract and natural looking environments. Simple yet visually appealing. Very beautiful and smooth day and night cycles. The UI is easy to navigate and world building is simplified well enough. I’d say it’s overall flaw would be that it’s lacking. It’s really just a first hand experience at shaping lands, nothing more. I still wish for the day this game gets major changes. It’s a nice thing to play around with when you’re bored. Great game! So much fun even years after it’s release.

I played this for about five minutes. After that, I’d done literally everything the game had to offer. Needs more to do.

I enjoy this game, and I’m willing to be patient with updates. If I were to suggest anything it would be the ability to create roads, or defined pathways. Having humans in the game would be nice, as well as the ability to change the weather. 4/5 only because this feels somewhat unfinished, I think the game should include more to do. For what it’s worth, it’s a satisfying game to play.

The more support this game gets from the players, the better updates we will have in the future. I have been waiting for this title to be released and I'm so glad to own it on my iPhone! I am very pleased with the look and feel of the game. The controls are simple enough, you don't really need much of a Tutorial to get started (although I'm glad it was there to follow). Any Strategy, RPG or Achievement features in future updates will absolutely have continued support from me. This title sets itself apart from all other games released in the App Store. Great work, Crescent Moon and Glenn Corpes! [EDIT] Crescent & Corpes, Just take a step back to previous releases (such as Topia World Builder) and polish them off a tad bit more ;) Topia is analogous to an unfinished sculpture that shouldn’t take too much effort to polish, but it would be great if the imbalances everyone is mentioning are tweaked. Put your mind to it and create a balance between all ecology. Do that, and players can REALLY create their world and watch it thrive. [ADDENDUM] I’m so happy to see another update on this game. Starting it up right after the update finishes (!) Let’s see how the changes and updates play...

I think this is a great game but the only problem. I can’t figure out how to change the time? Help please. Ok so I figured it out (half a year later) and I still love this game. I have one question. WHY DID YOU ABANDON IT? IT HAS GREAT POTENTIAL THAT YOU CAN STILL USE?!? It seems like you do this with all you’re games. I bet you aren’t even ever going to read this. Probably. And if you are, check how long ago it was written. The game it’s self is great, but please more updates. This is the game I have always wanted, perfect for me, honestly I think there should be more games like this. Update please.

It would be cool if you could make stuff like volcanoes and spawn stuff in water. It would also be cool if there were more interesting species that made colonies and had wars

I don’t know why I’m making this review. Maybe to help others in not buying the game or hoping some one will get the rights and continue this promising project of a game. The developer got his money for the game and scrambled leaving an unfinished work that had so much potential. I deleted this game 4 years ago and I would think about it often. I love work builder games and this one looks great and has amazing AI and terraforming of the planet. This game could’ve been awesome with other more intelligent AI like humans or some other alien.

Still making new games yet has abandoned this game which could of been a gem of a game but was left bare.. Why not make a new one & put it on Apple Arcade like u did with skyfish ! Love this game happy it still works but there is so much that can be done with newer devices new features style & such PLEASE UPDATE IT, OR release a new one gladly would jump buy if it’s premium no subscription & works offline.

This game is a waste of time and money. It looked interesting and it was ok to start but soon became an effort in futility. The creatures are non sustaining. Some of them have predators who will hunt and kill them and some will die when they have no resources. But some like the birds will just mass produce until they take over. I was looking for a building type/resource management game and this was not it! If that is what you are looking for then do not get it.

It seems like you guys aren’t updating anymore, I understand that, but at least come back and make birds starve without food and some needed small fixes like natural growth please ): I used to love this as a kid and I love the potential it had more now that I’m older

This game is crazy fun!!! It would be really cool if you guys added more animals and had the predators fight each other. Also giving the animals longer life spans would be great! Please come back and update this game. It would be crazy fun to play this game with even more opportunities to spawn different animals and plants.

Gets stale fast. Not a lot you can do, once you’ve tinkered with it a bit there’s not much else you can do. Has potential but there are better games just like this that are free. Thought it was a good idea, just needs work.

I gave it 4 stars only because even if the game is fun and relaxing it needs alot of work still. They need to update it by giving us humans and natural disasters. Wouldn't it be nice having a volcano that erupts or hurricanes and even rain storms? If we are all paying for this game then the least you can do is update the game.I hesitated it to buy it but i have high hopes they will have a major update soon. Please listen to us!!!!

It wont let me do anything! It just puts me through some dumb credits and I don’t get to make anything aside from the tutorials. I’m so angry!! 😡 please fix NOW I just spent REAL MONEY and I would like to BE ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME I MEAN HOW CAN YOU MISS THAT

The app technically launches but you can do nothing aside of setting and tutorials. Devs are clearly abandoned application many years ago.

I LOVE this game but I feel like there’s not enough variety it would be awesome if you could add more creatures it would also be awesome if the creatures could evolve depending on the environment into creatures you could only get threw specific evolution it could also get even better if you could have lava and ice so there could be creatures that adapt to that area and things like that with the weather things like natural disasters could really spice things up

You need to add more land animals from carnivores to more herbivorous creatures they need a lot of biodiversity like in real life more herbivorous animals and some carnivorous animals and maybe add some intelligent humanoids alien species and make a civlization

This game is awesome because it feels like I am the god of my own pocket worlds! Here are some suggestions to put in the game: Natural Disasters You should be able to cast tornadoes, tsunamis, all that fun stuff. Add Humans/Tribe It would be fun if you added humans that were like tribal people. They could hunt whatever gets in their way. Flat Map Add maps so you can see your overall world. It gets hard to see sometimes. Add game modes such as: Challenging (you have to build a world that meets different conditions every time) War (Humans(if added) can be diplomatic and can declare wars and settle treaties) Last suggestion: Make animals more realistic like, birds eat fish and tikes eat pinos food chain sort of thing. Instead of fictional animals add earth animals besides fish and birds! Keep up the good work!🙂🙂

This game is amazing! It would be great if you could have houses and people and run the world in realistic way and decorate people and houses it would also be fun if you could go inside the world and make a town and map and stuff... but otherwise it is amazing! Please consider using these update features...!

This game is pretty great, it’s been on my phone for years. It could use an iPhone X update, though.

I love this app. The graphics are great, the utilities are awesome, and the user friendliness of it is just superb. I am in the early development stages for a novel I am writing and have drawn several maps for the world it is about. This app allowed me to bring my world to a 3D format, so that can finally see it in, sort of, a real world look. It has also allowed me to make some alterations and small changes to my world, that will bring more depth to the story. That being said. I would love to see some small changes that will allow for more natural wonders in the worlds created with this app. For instance, the option to use different weather patterns, the ability to add bodies of water to different elevations and waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers, and snow covering for atop high mountains, to name a few. (Obviously, I would also like to see humans.) This app deserves a 5 star rating so far... in my opinion, however, I would love to see new options and changes, to make it even better for future play.

great game, crazy potential, needs updates. Here are my suggestions that would really help this game. First off just time, the game is simulated way to fast, you put down a predator and it instantly sprints to go eat a prey, please slow the process down maybe have feeding time or something like that, also a predator without food dies within 30 seconds plz make that longer as well, this would give us more time to enjoy the game and not worry about putting down so many animals, next idea is if predators would fight, that would be cool it happens in real life so it would be epic seeing a rare occasion where 2 predators in the game fight, would be even more cool if the winner would be a surprise that would keep it so interesting, next is the ocean plz put more animals in there im excited to see whats next for the ocean i would like to see sharks and maybe dolphins, the most important update i would like to see is the time situation, predators fighting predators (only sometimes), and more animals like sharks hawks tigers and things like that, would also be cool if there were more things to edit the world with but plz all this game needs is some updates and it would be epic so plz hurry edit- congrats you have a game with unlimited potential and were to lazy to do anything, dont worry someone else will take this idea and reach its potential

I absolutely love this game and the idea behind it. The prey of the game shouldn’t be able to fight back and kill off the predators as well as the predators should have a pack mentality so they aren’t killed off so easily. The trees should be self regenerating so the animals that live off of them can’t and won’t die out. I think it should be added that areas that are far enough away from water should turn into desert like land but I also think it should be an interchangeable option if you want this in the game or not. If you’re going to add humans to the game, it’d be interesting to see them be able to evolve to their surrounding areas and utilize predatory animals as well as the prey. Over all, I like the idea behind it and I hope you would take these ideas into consideration

I had bought this game and I regret it. It was fun at first, but it get boring and emotionally angry toward the AI messing up everything you want to build. It does not match the price.

It's a good game but all my trees keep dying. I cant get the long neck horse thingy to live, needs work.

Game is not worth it. It is pointless all you do is place stuff and watch a poor graphic game do its thing. Would be way better with Humans but there isn't any so not worth the buy.

Boring. Birds don't die and spawn a lot. Not predator for them Fish don't spawn well. Trees don't respawn at all. Boring.

Love this game but the issue is where the hell are the updates, WE NEED MORE ANIMALS, I'm very disappointed that their aren't no new animals and plus they die very easily which is really sad same for the plant life, I been having this game for a few months now and wishing a strong and good update but none happen feel like the to not care about it anymore very disappointing , at least add some freaken dinosaurs yo, theirs like barely any animals WUH DUH HAIL!!!!!!!

The game is great love it but you guys need to put humans and buildings in it i spend a dollar and 99 cents lol to play this game and it says in the intro there are humans in the game yet in the sandbox there are none

This is a great time killer, my only gripe is the population of animals can spread ridiculously fast. I know there's a "kill all animals" option but it'd be nice if there was a "kill all -insert animal name here-" option. Or for a wild card destructive experience an option for bigger lightning strikes that can start fires or a meteor that changes the shape of the land based on size and kills what it lands on with a small shockwave. Keep up the good work!

I love topia don't get me wrong but I think the game would be a lot better if there where more animals to pick from, Trees that spread through the land instead of having to place them. Some animals that I think you should add are big animals, like some thing the size of a elephant, I would also love to see some type of animal that builds huts and is like a tribe or civilization. Any way it's just my opinion on what would make the game better, I would to see them added.

First off no food chain, second, the carnivores should have a limit of how much they can kill for a certain amount of time, third, there should be certain things that defend themselves and others that run, fourth more fish like creatures, fifth bigger creatures like dinosaurs, and sixth natural disasters
